Help for Lisa:
And boy, did she need it!
F
OR THOSE who have not yet met her let me
introduce Steph. She has been working at
Martlets Cattery since the Spring and her job
description is "preserving Lisa s sanity" (not an easy
task) .
STEPH HAS experience working in
a veterinary practice and running
her own "private zoo ", the latter
comprises of two dogs, six cats
(two of them Oopseeidee*
breeding), a macaw, rats, degus,
sugar gliders, and snakes. Steph
is very caring with the cats and we are very lucky to
have her.
Same Plea as Last Year!
W
E ARE AWARE that we are running short of pens
for a good proportion of the year. I am often
asked how much notice we need to accommodate cats.
The answer depends on when you need to take your
break. Last minute breaks are great in January,
February, October, November and early December,
and probably OK in March, April and May (avoiding
Easter), but difficult at Christmas, during June, July,
August and September.
FOR THESE last months please book as early as
possible, we get very upset when we cannot fit in our
regular cats. We also feel that our loyal customers,
who come to us year round, or year after year, ought to
be able to enjoy a break in high season at their
Martlets Cattery.
WE DO, however, realise that events such as
bereavements, house moves, and illnesses, etc., cannot
be planned, and we always do our best to fit you in. So
do give us a ring, I will try to perform magic!
INDEED, WE hope to ease the pen shortage sometime in
the foreseeable future - watch this space!
