Accommodation
This is a five star licenced boarding cattery built strictly within the guidelines published by the British
Veterinary Association and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH ), providing the
ultimate in comfort and hygiene for your cat. The chalets are constructed using the most modern
materials.
All our chalets are full height PVCu with a double glazed window by the shelf in the sleeping quarters.
The individual covered area outside of the sleeping quarters is PVCu from the floor to 3ft and then glass
to the ceiling. The front of the outside area is mesh to provide fresh air at all times. There is a safety
corridor running the full length of the cattery with a five lever locked door at each end. The chalets have a
heat reflective roof covering the whole cattery to prevent heat building up in the summer.
Martlets Cattery has fifteen double chalets. Cats which normally live together can share, some chalets
have intercommunicating doors so that larger family groups can be together.
We only use Vet Bed in our baskets and stainless steel bowls to maintain the maximum levels in
hygiene and comfort. The cats in our care have access to their own individual hygienic scratching posts.
The Garden
Martlets Cattery is set within a beautiful rural two acre garden. The guest accommodation overlooks
the orchard and a field beyond, which is often occupied by sheep, horses or pheasants.

Individual Care
We are happy to discuss individual requirements and any special needs. Living on the premises
myself, I am able to provide you with peace of mind of 24-hour security and care. Where possible we
use your own Veterinary Surgeon, if this is not possible we have our own Veterinary Surgeon on call 24
hours a day.
